I’ll say it now. If Denver seeeps the Sioux this weekend you can kiss the NCAAs away.
It would look that way. They have ten games left (including Denver) and if Jim Dahl's numbers are on, and they pretty much always are, they need to win at least six to make the tournament. Five is an outside shot. So if they get swept this weekend, they need to win six of the remaining eight games. I don't see that happening. Of course they could fool us and win the NCHC playoffs.
The bye week was kind to UND. Moved up from 12 to 9 in the pairwise. If they can get a sweep of CC at the Ralph next weekend they will be third in the NCHC standings

I will be there for the games so the chances of them sweeping are greatly diminished.
Heh heh. Actually I think they have a good shot at a sweep. Hopefully they will have all the injured players back and everyone should be well rested. Five more wins goes a long way to securing a spot in the tournament, and a sweep means they can split the rest of their games. Very doable.

Yeah, that one really caught me off guard.
This team really needs to get Rhett Gardner back. (I never imagined me saying that.) And Nick Jones. Not having two top centers and 60%-ish face-off men is really throwing everything off.
