Again, those SCHOOLS are not implied to have done anything in this latest article. If the NCAA wanted to do something for this season, they could sit those PLAYERS. That isn't going to change much. And to go beyond that, as is pointed out here, most of the "benefits" were loans (sure they may never have been paid back, but that's missing evidence at this point).

Even if you assume the coaches didnt know (hah!) the players were ineligible by rule (unless they took less than $200 than they can donate to charity or some such nonsense) so every game they played should be forfeited.

Loans dont matter...it is an improper benefit as such the player is disqualified. (plus these guys are agents)

Is that what Bridges is going to do since technically his mom got it

I assume the Cam defense is he had no idea his dad got paid...wasnt that the story? Didnt Ole Miss offer him like $130k and he still chose Auburn?

                        Let's get this party started!

FBI has wiretaps of Arizona coach Sean Miller talking $100K payment to lock in a recruit.

Feds have 3000 hours of wiretapped conversations. Lordy.

                          Here is the Link

Ayton, a 7-foot-1 center who was born in the Bahamas, is considered one of the top freshmen in the country and a leading candidate for national player of the year honors. He is averaging 19.6 points and 10.9 rebounds in what is expected to be his only college season, helping the No. 14 Wildcats take a 1½-game lead in the Pac-12 standings with three regular-season games to play.
You can vacate that real quick...

edit: How dumb are these contracts? "If Miller is fired for cause, his contract is written in such a way that he would still receive more than 85 percent of the money he is owed through May 31, 2022."

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Yes, some coach's careers will end along with some ADs and administrators. But new people will replace them. And the standing order will be "keep revenue up, but don't get caught this time".
Pretty much. The NCAA is a walking contradiction. Amateurism in general is a nonsensical concept especially when there's this much money involved.
