Stanton gets 1 more chance in the 9th.

Struck out, but got a standing O.

@OverTheMonster: Pablo Sandoval hit a walkoff home run for the Giants to end their season. In classic Sandoval fashion, it cost the team the # 1 overall pick

This. IIRC, he got paid, sucked, got cut, then claimed, and is back with his orig team.

Where he continued to suck. Between late August, early September, he went hitless in 38 plate appearances, setting a Giants record.

But it was Brett Gardner as the lone qualifying player with a perfect fielding %.

*Yawn* Indians/'Stros and Diamondbacks/Cubs. Rematch of 2016. Cubs back-to-back just to **** me off.

Fully aboard the Twins bandwagon though! Totally can't wait to have my heart stomped out twice in a week! Stupid Cardinals winning Saturday night.

Both times the Twins have beat the Yankees in the playoffs, it was a game 1 and their starting pitcher was Santana.

Polls for favorite NL and AL teams. This is the team you root for, not the team you think will win.

    Well, clearly, there's their strategy.

    (Checks tonight's pitchers.)

Fred was shielding him but even he had had enough.

The problem is Jeffy is business partners with Mike Barwis, our strength and conditioning coach, who appears to be incompetent.
