          I am so glad not to work on Mondays, because that was insane. I fell asleep briefly in the top of the 9th, but watched the rest. I love that I immediately called my mom after the game, at 12:38 am... because I knew she would be watching too.

              If LA knew how to score runs with runners on third and fewer than two outs, this series might be over. They left a run on third in game 2 in the 7th inning, and again yesterday they did it a couple of times. I never rooted for the Cardinals, but those 1980s teams of theirs never seemed to leave a guy on third with fewer than 2 outs.

                Teams knew how to small-ball back then. It seems like all the hits now must come from huge amounts of power rather than placing hits.

                  Need more Game 1's, or start Sunday's at 7-7:30. But with Fox having the NFL they don't want to run into a Heidi situation.

                    Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

                            StubHub had two tickets behind home plate for tonight's game. Asking price? $500,000 per. I really wanted to "Proceed to checkout" just to see what happens.
