The only saving grace for my heart is that I never expected the Yankees to get this far.

      But still........

While 30 seconds of searching did not provide a definitive answer, I'm pretty sure that, if Houston wins tonight, they will be the only team to make it to the World Series from both Leagues.

The Brewers could eventually join that exclusive club as well if they ever advance that far from the National League.

The real question is how many teams have even switched leagues? That number is minuscule as it is.

IINM the Brewers and Astros are the only teams to ever switch leagues. The NL and AL were the real entities for most of history -- MLB was just a dumb marketing wrapper. Recently the MBAs have destroyed baseball like everything else.

                            Astros earned it.

I don't think this was the last these 2 will play in October.

Most likely. Both these teams are built for years to come.

Cleveland, Minnesota, Boston... The AL is set to be a pretty incredible battle for the next while.
