      *Yawn* Indians/'Stros and Diamondbacks/Cubs. Rematch of 2016. Cubs back-to-back just to **** me off.

      Fully aboard the Twins bandwagon though! Totally can't wait to have my heart stomped out twice in a week! Stupid Cardinals winning Saturday night.

        Oops. Forgot all about the Tiggers.

              Both times the Twins have beat the Yankees in the playoffs, it was a game 1 and their starting pitcher was Santana.

                  Well, clearly, there's their strategy.

                  (Checks tonight's pitchers.)

                  Huh.

                    Fred was shielding him but even he had had enough.

                    The problem is Jeffy is business partners with Mike Barwis, our strength and conditioning coach, who appears to be incompetent.

                          I don't think any one-off baseball game is ever a "shock," unless it's say this.

                          Athletics 8TH:

                          Galloway walked;
                          Glass flied to right;
                          Bishop walked [Galloway to second];
                          Dykes tripled to center [Galloway scored, Bishop scored];
                          Lamar singled [Dykes scored];
                          Simmons singled to right [Lamar to third];
                          Welch singled to right [Lamar scored, Simmons to third];
                          Berry singled to left [Simmons scored, Welch to second];
                          Poole walked [Welch to third, Berry to second];
                          Galloway singled to left [Welch scored, Berry scored, Poole to third];
                          Hale singled to center [Poole scored, Galloway to third];
                          Bishop singled to center [Galloway scored, Hale scored];
                          Dykes forced Bishop (shortstop to second);
                          Lamar walked [French to second];
                          Simmons homered [French scored, Lamar scored];
                          Welch flied to right;

                          13 R, 9 H, 0 E, 0 LOB.
                          Indians 15, Athletics 17.

                              have to work hard to see a playoff game now. though if one can drag out mookie supposes he can catch a number of endings... so thank the lord for 3+ hrs baseball got up at 230a to watch the bu game before heading to work sunday morning. luckily that ended in the expected 2+ hrs and was able to shower and go grab breakfast at the usual time. but if these games start at 830est (330a mst) most won't end before mookie is off to work. annoying.
                              a legend and an out of work bum look a lot alike, daddy.
