                    MLB Radio is saying that all teams knew about it. They had full access to the medical reports.

                      Correct.

                      Plus, to Joe's point, this is not a trade, where you can have some recourse even if you did give the player a physical and find out later on he was damaged goods.

                      In this situation, if they did not know, unless there was nefarious means (like the player/agent never provided his medical records, which I can never see a team accepting), then it is caveat emptor. Whether lawyers still get involved though, of course is another story.

                        It's not that expensive of a mistake for the Angels anyway due to the international signing rules.

                              Obviously nobody knows how he'll return from TJ, but when he was good, he was dominant for the NYY. Unfortunately, he had moments of terribad pitching too.
