Think they would end it if it were, say, a one-run game in the 8th tonight?
I just can't believe they'd allow that. But it would be much cleaner if they had a rule ahead of time so it didn't wind up in US District Court.
It's in the official MLB rules that all postseason games must be played to completion.

Nice to see the Astros get this done. And with so many from their own system. Verlander may have been a difference maker, but a lot of draft picks there.
Felt a little bad that Bellinger had to suffer so much. He was obviously lost at the plate. Some off season work for him.
We might be done here already. This might turn out to be like Game 7 of the 1985 WS, where KC wiped out St Louis 11-0 the night after the Don Denkinger game.
Yeah, this game 7 turned out to be anti-climactic. But, it was a great series overall, so can't complain.

Deadspin had a random article on Deion Sanders and an inside the park HR today.
Will we ever have another duel sport athlete? Drew Henson was the last to play in the NFL and MLB, but not at the same time, same with Brian Jordan. It could be awhile before we see that again, but I mean more the Bo Jackson/Deion type who play in both leagues at the same time.

Of course, he probably thinks David Eckstein should be in the hall.
