And evidently going to appeal. Not sure I agree with appealing, unless they can somehow guarantee that the appeal can get expedited or (ideally) they could time the appeal so if he misses a game it's the next Buffalo game. They can beat Miami or Buffalo without him, and given his injury history, he could benefit from a game off anyway. But it'd be nice to have him for Pittsburgh.

I think that's what meant by epic meltdown opportunity - for the Vikings.

I hope Shazier hasn't played his final game. Yikes, that didn't look good.

Shouldn't lead with the crown of the helmet.

I'm pretty sure the appeal will be heard before the end of the week. I think he just might want to have a say about getting mugged almost every time he goes out on a pass route.

That was scary. His legs weren’t moving. Pray he’s okay.

Reports are that Shazier has a Spinal Contusion, should be alright. Tommy Maddox had one in 2002 and missed a single game.

Watching the replay I'm surprised guys don't get paralyzed every game. It was awkward contact but nothing we don't see 20 times a game.

                            Under the Red/Green tax plan
                            40,000,000 - 50,000 (locality index est) = $39,950,000 taxable income

                            Tax on 1st million at 15% = $150,000
                            Tax on next $9 million @ 25% = $2,250,000
                            tax on remainder @ 35% = $10,482,500

Total federal tax bill = $12,882,500
or a marginal rate of 32.2%
After NYS & NYC gouge him, I figure Roger will have about $20 million to play with.

Work for you,Kep? Anyone have any objections?

                              I believe my numbers were:

                              Tax on 1st million at 15% = $150,000
                              Tax on next $9 million @ 45% = $4,050,000
                              Tax on remaining 29,950,00 @ 75% = $16,846,875

Total federal tax bill on $40,000,000 = $21,046,875, an effective rate of 52.6%
