Not sure I agree with appealing, unless they can somehow guarantee that the appeal can get expedited or (ideally) they could time the appeal so if he misses a game it's the next Buffalo game. They can beat Miami or Buffalo without him, and given his injury history, he could benefit from a game off anyway. But it'd be nice to have him for Pittsburgh.

            I'm pretty sure the appeal will be heard before the end of the week. I think he just might want to have a say about getting mugged almost every time he goes out on a pass route.

                Reports are that Shazier has a Spinal Contusion, should be alright. Tommy Maddox had one in 2002 and missed a single game.

                    Watching the replay I'm surprised guys don't get paralyzed every game. It was awkward contact but nothing we don't see 20 times a game.
