The Bengals cut OT Eric Winston. You're probably thinking "who? Big deal."

Well, he's the current NFLPA President, re-elected to a 2 year term in 2016.

The Bills have signed Joe Webb as a backup.

You might remember Webb as a failed Vikings QB.

Johnny Football worked out for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the CFL, but wasn't signed because of "too many red flags."

I wonder how that one jersey looks now, the one with all the Browns' QBs since Couch.

Patriots are 11-4 odds to repeat as Super Bowl champions this year.

                    Browns are 100-1.

                    And the Jets are 1000-1.

Tampa @ Miami could be in jeopardy Sunday. NFL has only said they are figuring out alternatives, including possibly moving the date or location.

Both teams are off week 11 (pretty sure that week, same week regardless), though I'd have to think that's a last resort. NFLPA would take the shield to task for trying to make teams go 16 straight weeks.

not like either of them has to worry about going 17 straight

Still way optimistic. Does Vegas cap odds, because the Jets are arguably 1,000,000 to 1. Would you put $100 on the Jets at 100,000 to 1? I wouldn't.

The only way this makes sense is if the assumption is the Jets are trying to lose and the Jets always f-ck up so...

Webb had one big win in 2009(?), after Brett Favre went down for the season with an injury, and the old Metrodome's ceiling had collapsed. Webb played really well that game, got the Vikings the upset win, and had everyone thinking he could be the next hidden gem. Everyone was wrong. He struggled mightily after that game.

The Jets ought to be 1000-1 to finish 8-8.
