    Hopefully more of the tape to tape passes and none of the tape to skate and tape to nobody in particular passes..

    • Love to beat RPI no matter what the stakes. nice to see Brierly and Hynes play. Brierly looked Decent, hopefully he can fill in (along with Newhouse) for light and brassard next year, would be a decent defense. Shouldn't lose too much on d. Couple with the fact we only lose scarfo on O we should be good next year. love Hynes, guy hustles more then anyone. Lots of grit. Not the most talented guy, we certainly have better forwards but super glad to see him play and get rewarded. Between Harvard losing to Colgate and Cornell and Colgate losing to Dartmouth we look pretty good for top 4, especially if we can atleast split with Colgate from here out. Pleasantly surprised with this team, I think they are ahead of schedule, and regardless of where we finish this year, they should be a great team next year

        OK, RPI vs Union what can I say. We almost blew a 4 point lead. Did we expect RPI to give up? Kudos to Hynes
        Looking forward, we need 8 points. 28 points should get us top 4 for a bye. Many ways to get there.
        - 4 wins
        or
        - 8 ties
        or
        - 2 points each weekend
        Hanson is 10-3, 2.18 and .911 with 1 shutout.
        Playoff hockey next weekend. Defense. Block shots !!!

          There isn't an easy game in the bunch - so it is going to show EXACTLY what kind of team they are and How much they really want it.
          It needs to be EVERYBODY ALL IN with no lapses (and boy do we know lapses).
          We could also use just a Bit more creativity on the Power play.. GO U

            What if?
            What if any of the 12 ECAC teams went undefeated in league play the rest of the way. How many could hypothetically reach 28 league points?

            Q = 28
            Darmouth = 29
            Colgate = 31
            Harvard = 31
            Union = 36
            Clarkson = 40
            Cornell = 41

            This thing is a long way from being over. Who gets that the first-week bye is a long way from being decided. Starting next weekend it's going to be a wild ride. Next weekend our freshmen get a taste of Lynah.

              your last 3 sentences are absolutely right on..
              Union plays all but Clarkson, with Cornell and Colgate twice, - Odds are real good None of them end up undefeated the rest of the way now that Clarkson has proven human

                      You're right, the curse was actually at Starr rink, but we're starting a new "curseeeeeeeee".

                        Shabby: The only thing that can place a curse are an angel, a fairy, a hag, or the undead. Which are you? Did you go through proper training? Do you have a certificate? If you say the curse the wrong way, Colgate may never win another game at Class of 1965 Arena

                          Well, well, well. Friday we go against the #1 team in the nation. Schafer talks about RPI being a "pretty good" hockey team but does not mention Union. I wonder if the Dutchmen are excited to be playing the #1 Hockey Team in the Country? You think they are pyched?

                          Cornel is the 6th heaviest and we are the 7th lightest team in the NCAA's.

                          Cornell looking ahead to Clarkson on the 9th.

                              Fun and exciting game tonight unless you happened to care who won. Great comeback by the Dutchmen; the game could easily have gone either way. I've rarely seen a game so controlled by momentum. When we had it we looked like we could win 12-0. When you had it we looked like we didn't belong in the same building.

                              Lots of missed open nets by both teams as well our crossbar and disallowed goal. That game could probably have been 8-5.

                              See you in a few weeks.

                                Might have been an even better game if those two blind mice had stayed home.. worst refs of the year -- anywhere
                                easy to see why they always win at home..
                                When did they do away with Holding the stick penalty?
