Reading in various rags that Turtle Boy and Orange Hair are in full derp mode toward each other. Last phone conversation involved swearing.

Because Turtle was supposed to protect Heir Hair from the Russia investigation. You know, that Fake News Russia investigation.

Well, Orange Boy is the Master of the Deal. How did Obama get the ACA passed, but the Master of the Deal can't get it repealed?

After all, Trumpy ran saying this country had a lot of problems, but we needed to elect him because only he could fix them. Only him. What does he need turtle boy for? Only Trumpy can fix our problems, not turtle boy.

    Wow. Just wow.

In a finding that says a lot about how we got to where we are today, Trump voters say they would rather have Jefferson Davis as President than Barack Obama 45/20. Obama wins that question 56/21 with the overall electorate.
    But, not racist. Just traitors.

Asked what racial group they think faces the most discrimination in America, 45% of Trump voters say it's white people followed by 17% for Native Americans with 16% picking African Americans, and 5% picking Latinos. Asked what religious group they think faces the most discrimination in America, 54% of Trump voters says it's Christians followed by 22% for Muslims and 12% for Jews.
    Poor, persecuted white boys.

Did they ask what about Jefferson Davis it was that they liked? Was it his budgetary views? Perhaps his stance on tariffs? Oh if only we knew what it was specifically about him that they liked! Sadly we will never be able to get to the bottom of that mystery.

White people given every advantage that minorities struggle to get, and they get nowhere. It can't be their fault. Everyone should succeed being as lazy and blaming as they are.

Then again, many of these people picture the incredibly hard working farm workers as lazy, since they work low wage jobs. And that every diversity thing is about numbers instead of increasing sources of creative thinking. And not accepting that post-slavery that there were STILL actual laws that were anti specific races.

Give them facts, and they will call it false news, because they FEEL it's their way. Ironically, they don't care about other's feelings (see ALL arguments about being PC).

    Terrible people.

I'm guessing for a good chunk of them, it was that his name was not Barrack Obama. For the rest, I'd have to imagine it was his stance on tariffs.

I mean ****ing seriously. Even Confederate scholars and people who know the Confederacy well would agree Davis was a weak and ineffectual leader. If your whole thing was wanted the South to win, you should dislike Davis. Of course, that would require any of these ****-for-brains to actually know **** about the Civil War.

Yeah, like they even teach history down south. Hell, Trump went to the best schools I'm sure and he doesn't have a ****ing clue.

Interesting thing about that. Go and talk to any Trump supporter. You know what they'll say? "No one's giving him a chance. If they would only let him do what he needs to do everything would be duckies and bunnies.". Go ahead. Ask. I have.

This is a random observation, but I feel like I get a lot more out of reading about history as an adult than I ever did as a kid. With that being said, I'm sure I'm very much in the minority as far as the reading I do. What percentage of the population even reads say five non fiction books a year? It can't be more than a few percent.

    I'm guessing it's more this:

We recognize the negro as God and God's Book and God's Laws, in nature, tell us to recognize him. Our inferior, fitted expressly for servitude.óJefferson Davis, 1861
