Special teams blunders and field position are murder in a somewhat even matchup.

And 8-4 or 7-5 looks very likely now.

Howard Univ. getting 45 from Vegas and $600,000 from UNLV, beat their hosts 43-40.

This is how I feel whenever any permutation of Miami, Florida, and Florida State play. It's like Maine-BC.

Whazzat mean? Were they 45 to 1?

I actually had no idea Howard had a football team. Assumed they would consider that a perpetuation of slavery (which... not a bad argument, really).

Longtime Vegas analyst RJ Bell said Howard’s win was the biggest upset in college football history, noting that a $100 bet on the Bison to win outright would have paid out an astounding $55,000.
If Howard had laid the entire $600K to win, they would have taken home $330 million.

Josh Rosen has a very good Eli Manning face

Josh Rosen just got Kevin Sumlin fired.

    From down 41-10 to a 45-44 win.

I watched the wrong half of that game. Turned back in time to see UCLA's final drive and the fake spike.

Sumlin tried to be a good sport and walk off at the half with the ball on the UCLA 40 instead of trying a Hail Mary or FG with his all-world kicker. I'm sure he would've liked another try at points now.

The new starter is 6'5" 185 lbs, and doesn't look anywhere near that heavy. He may not survive whatever cupcake they play this week.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the Criminoles as much as the next guy, but here's to hoping that they circle the wagons and get back to a Top 5-10 team in time to get destroyed in Death Valley on November 11, 2017.

Then they'll throw another freshman on the barbecue. They have a junior or senior who was so awful in the Peach Bowl that they rushed Sean McGuire back in the 2nd half with a shattered ankle.

Their other recruits either left to go snort snow in California (Malik Henry) instead of going to class or got expelled (Deondre Johnson) for domestic violence.

Speaking of fired, one A&M regent is calling for Sumlin's head on Facebook and the A&M message boards are filled with "Fire Sumlin!"
