And why is it that people were up in arms over Harbaugh's contract, again? One that DIDN'T mean he was the top paid coach.....

        I never understood that.

But letting Pedo State point out how important entertainment like football is, relative to everything else... yea....

That's cool, but I am shocked that even one of those kids has heard of MC Hammer.

I guess holding the Stanford/Rice game tomorrow in Sydney turned out to be a shockingly good amount of foresight.

So, who does everyone have for their playoff teams? What conference gets shutout? Does any conference get more than 1 team? Ohio State looked rough in the opening half last night against Indiana...are they still going to run roughshod over the B1G? More importantly, does Clemson get its 7th straight 10+ win season?

My playoff: Southern Cal, the Criminoles, Alabama, and Ohio State. I'll take Southern Cal over Ohio State for the National Title.

And yes, Clemson gets 10+ wins...although it will be close and they may need to win their bowl game to do so.

FSU, Washington, Ohio State, Oklahoma. 2 loss SEC Champ Alabama is left out. OSU over FSU in the title game.

17 pts vs Buffalo doesn't give me a lot of confidence for this season. But a win is a win.

Well, the one positive of this result would be the instant call for increasing the number of playoff teams to at least 8, with an auto-bid for each Power 5 conference champion.

New coach, new system, unproven OL and 2 new QBs. Don't let the preseason get you too high or too low. They're not going to push for any titles, but they have a shot at .500 in the BT which would have been their ceiling even if Claeys had stayed on.
