But let's be real...There are 40 some other teams and only two alaskan teams...the day one of us wins something big will be the day I transfer to UAA

I'm all for it, believe me, just like I'm all for the Timbers finishing ahead of that second-most pampered league pet on Puget Sound.
Hopefully the one thing we can all objectively agree upon is that the Eastern Conference is worthless and should be contracted.
so you're in favor of Columbus moving to Austin?

Seattle isn’t pampered, especially since Atlanta is the new hotness, the only benefit we ever got was the Dempsey signing. LA got two DPs, Beckham and Donovan, at a time when teams were only allowed one, or two if they traded for it, because “Donovan’s contract was grandfathered in.” That’s pampered.
And the East in godawful. The last Eastern team to win MLS Cup was Sporting KC, who’s in the West now. The last actual Eastern Conference team to win was Columbus in 2008.

Ooh, a Kepler dilemma. On one hand it would be an Eastern team being moved, on the other it’s to Texas...
I have no problem keeping them where they are and giving them the ax.
In general I hate expansion and franchise relocation. With the exception of the Mets, Islanders, Seahawks, and Mariners (who all violate the anti-expansion rule), I'd like to see each league return to its roster of teams from its first season. NL 1876, AL 1901, NFL 1922, NHL 1923, NBA 1950.

A true East Coaster.
But, ugh, I do not want MLS circa 1996, that was awful. If anything, right now would be prime MLS.

I think the NFL should be from the 1921 APFA season, so that we get the Tonawanda Kardex/Lumbermen.
