My favorite college hoops team is Duke. My second favorite is North Carolina. Dean Smith was a great man (seriously, read up on him) and Coach K is following his example.

Don't bother hating on this post. I've heard it all before.

I wasnt hating on the other post. It just seemed conflicted considering the hate other fans have.

Thus allowing you to get the sh-t kicked out of you in bars in both Chapel Hill and Durham!

              If I ever went to
              1) North Carolina or
              2) a bar
              that might be a problem

I wasn't aiming that at you, just in general. I know people loathe both programs.

I couldn’t root for Portland outside of very specific circumstances.

I grew up with LSU and Arkansas FB being my 2a and 2b favorite programs due to deep familial ties with both. But Duke and UNC? Front-runner special right there.

Now it would be considered front-runner but I grew up before Coach K made Duke what is today.

Ok, based upon your comment regarding Coach K it sounded like otherwise.

Lol, mediocre playoff teams don’t get high draft picks. This kid is destined for a spot on the Revolution’s bench...

So, this seems rather aggressive, ruin a country's economy to steal the World Cup?
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.
