I'll say again, you're not trying to convince Trump worshipers to vote Dem. You need lazy people to get off the couch who aren't voting to vote Dem.

Mr. "The Fake Media Is Out To Get Me" has fake media adorning his golf clubs.
          https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...=.2dfc7512ffef
This cover — dated March 1, 2009 — looks like an impressive memento from Trump’s pre-presidential career. To club members eating lunch, or golfers waiting for a pro-shop purchase, it seemed to be a signal that Trump had always been a man who mattered. Even when he was just a reality-TV star, Trump was the kind of star who got a cover story in Time.

          But that wasn’t true.

The Time cover is a fake.

“I can confirm that this is not a real TIME cover,” Kerri Chyka, a spokeswoman for Time Inc., wrote in an email to The Washington Post.

Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others.

Not just the lazy. You have to run good candidates. Obama got people off the couch. They weren't any less lazy, they just had a great candidate to back.

It would be wonderful if Democratic voters had the same ideological discipline as Republican voters, but they don't. "Republicans fall in line, Democrats fall in love." It's been true for a hundred years. Squawk or opine all you like about why that it, it IS, and to win we have to run within those contours.

                    LOL.

                    Good candidates since 1984.

Now if people can figure out how to present what this Bill actually does. I would love it if there was a way to create a FB app that you could plug in your demographic and have it tell you what you qualified for/what would happen. Not politicized. Just what you get with each proposal.
It's a Facebook App. That's not going to reach Ma and Pa Kettle. To inform them you need a PowerPoint presentation at a MegaChurch, and they still won't believe it unless the pastor tells them Baby Jesus Sez So.

McConnell must have been well and truly f-cked to delay, because facing the constituents without a win was the last thing his troops wanted. I almost see a glimmer of hope for the republic if we can keep on pushing his O line back and forcing him to punt. We can't seem to move the ball, we're not even sending in plays, but we're still winning a grinding battle of field position.

Some credit to Schumer, too. This could have gotten out of control but he's handling his caucus just right.

Meh, all that says is (1) keep it at the USA Today reading level, and (2) run somebody with more charisma than a corpse. Both fundamental rules of politics.

                          America speaks.

Nearly 73 percent of Democrats and 17 percent of Republicans said they would abstain from alcohol for the rest of their lives if they could see the official political process begin to remove Trump
