Yeah, but it started with Reagan. And the Democrats let it escalate to what we have now. If they had done a better job back then we wouldn't have such a cluster**** now.

I figured after 7 years they'd have one new idea. Just one.

More and more, my claim about no difference between the democrats and republicans is coming to fruition.

Is that why you take precaution to avoid it at all costs?

It's a heck of a lot easier to be Anti-the-Other-Guy because they are dangerous vs. having ideas.

And in this case, President Obama was clever to take an idea from a Republican Governor so that any possible idea to actually replace it will likely be the same thing. Which has done a great job at illustrating that the R's are no more than an Anti D group. And not much else.

Other than lower taxes for people who don't need them, including spending a lot of money on expensive defensive items, R's have had little to bring to the table for a long time- other than being anti-Democrats.

Both parties spend like no tomorrow; they just want to spend on different things. However, what's the word in common? And what is one of the sure fire ways to reduce any deficit? And don't give me some bull about "mandatory spending" either; that's just lip service for spending desire. Let's get some more cease-fires in place and start cutting "defense" which looks more like offense. Let's make cuts to SS and Medicare that has been stolen from for years and are supposedly revenue neutral through payroll taxes but only cover about half of the actual cost. Let's get rid of the PPACA that has billions in pork incentives and has done nothing but completely hamper the spending power of the people that would be able to generate sales and income tax revenues (although I disagree with the premise of the second, it's technically part of the Constitution, so we gotta go with it for the time being). It's high time this country sets an example for the millions heavily indebted and actually spends within their means.

I definitely prefer calling it Don'tCare at this point. Republicans just want to be able to say they repealed the Kenyan Muslim's signature legislation. That's all this boils down to.

Or, to put it in simpler terms... (NSFW!)
