    I can't imagine seeing one. And I am thankful. I mean, there's a reason I don't wear shorts.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Are you becoming nicely reacquainted with Pittsburghese? I fall apart every time I hear "yoons."

Morning, Lodge. Get a call from my boss this morning, to ask something about work. He forgot I had the day off. Oops. Yeah, they're gonna be boned today.

They did yell "QAPLA!" at the end of the ceremony. So who knows.

Found out that right after I come back from Las Vegas for that conference+weekend trip for my niece, I have to head out a few days later to go to Houston for another conference. Houston in August. Just as bad as Las Vegas in August. That said....I figured since I have to be there for about 4 days, I'd check to see if the Astros were home. The hotel where I'm going to stay is close to the Astros' ballpark. I know this because that was the NFL headquarters for the Super Bowl when I was there. So then I thought...hmmm, that's pre-season football time. Let me check the Texans' schedule. And sure enough, they have a home game that Saturday night when I'm there. And they're playing the Patriots!! OK, so now I don't mind having to go.

Not sure. Las Vegas probably hotter temperature wise, by a bit, but Houston can get pretty dang humid.
