Communism may be the complete wrong economic model, but it's hard to argue that one of it's key points is that every one is absolute equality, in theory. Regardless of race, religion, starting economic class, whatever- every one was equal.

There some decent concepts one can take from Communism and Socialism to use in a Capitalist society. I'm not sure if there's a single concept from the KKK that is a good idea.

One of the KEY problems with Communism is the authoritarian governments that used it to control the people they ruled.

Great. We have the moral/false equivalency gang bang thread now.

It's all relative. You come to a poor rural college town, and see that the professors own the best homes, run every community group, and despite an over abundance of formal education, espouse way more than their fair share of identity politics and bigotry (not only or even mostly on race, but it's a big one) Also I'd think upbringing/parental examples must be the single biggest factor in perpetuating racism... and the way out is through: familiarity breeds respect.

So did the racist Dems just vote Trump this time around? Because racism clearly was a factor with voters where Trump crushed Clinton at the polls. Of course there are racist Dems, but just as many, not likely.

But the KKK is a hate organization. The communist party is nothing of the sort.
Right, that is the flaw in his logic. Communism is a political movement and philosophy. Even though this country demonized it for decades there is nothing inherently evil about it. The KKK in its current incarnation is a hate group meant to terrorize and subjugate Blacks and non-christians. They often are linked to politics but are not a political group.

No, there are not. There are racist Dems, but their numbers are no where near the number of racist GOPers.

I didn't explain myself on this one, and for that I apologize profusely.

DX had sad Trump is a racist b/c the KKK vouched for him. Another person asked that since the communist party vouched for Obama, that must make Obama a commie, right?

Just because a certain group vouches for a person, that doesn't make that person part of/associated with/in line with that group.

Trump's actions make him a racist. Pure and simple. There's no reason to split hairs.

don doesn't need the KKK to be labeled a racist. He does a great job showing it, in spades.

But to use those groups as some how good examples of a person being bad, well, that's interesting....

So it appears that the Republicans (Chaffetz) want the Comey memos but don't want Trump's tapes? Why?

Will it be the "Freaky Friday" version of Chuck (him channeling McConnell)?* Then, maybe.
If it's Chuck being Chuck, he, at least I know where he's coming from ... consistently.

Is Pence a politician? He'll vote more power to himself. (The rest of the GOP is already against for gettin' snuggly with Trump so what's he lose?)
