I have to laugh at the comments on the Internet that say Nashville fans are somehow less than your traditional fans, etc. Sure, they may not have the widespread fan reach like some teams, but I love how loud and passionate they've looked thus far. This isn't a bad thing, and truthfully, I've watched something similar happen in Tampa the past few years.

So NBC gets TV markets 23 and 29 ... if they're lucky.

They've got a marketable feel good story in Nashville. But it is the NHL so they're too dumb to capitalize on it...

Remember- This is the best year Montreal is ever going to get out of the Weber-Subban trade. It's all downhill from here.

Has anyone been to a game in Nashville before? I used to go down there for a weekend a year to watch games, because tickets are so cheap and the city is great. The atmosphere there has been pretty good for a number of years. The way the bars lead into the arena, I always wondered how crazy it would be there if the cup was ever won in Nashville. Hoping it happens!

Just make sure that, before traveling, the Predators aren't limiting admission to residents of their local market. Maybe that policy is only in force at Blackhawk games, but check to make sure. It would be horrible to travel from out-of-state, only to be denied admission.

For the record, I really have no objection if Predators management wants to limit initial ticket sales to residents of their home territory. But for secondary sales, the normal rules of a free market should apply. Doing a "residency check" at the door is really ugly, IMO.

Also for the record, I don't hold the Nashville players & coaches responsible for the actions of their ticket people. Have to admit that the 2017 Preds are an appealing Cinderella story...

I think they typically just block out of town numbers from calling their ticket office. That's what Harvard used to try (ineptly) to do to block Cornell fans swamping Bright.
