Been hearing a fair amount of positive chatter on this. Anyone have a link?

So did they follow it up with theirs? The Canadian National Anthem is pretty cool when sung like that, too.

        That was great, BTW.

          They did in fact.

I was just pleasantly surprised that 1) they sang ours at all and enthusiastically at that & 2) they know all of the words.

Not sure how many American crowds could pull that off.

Wasn't it Alberta where our anthem was notoriously booed during the WJCs a number of years ago?

I thought it was Montreal where that usually happens.

The Lynah crowd does it for Oh Canada every game. When we do it at the ECACs and NCAAs we always get a really nice cheer from the rest of the crowd. Then they go back to booing us for being insufferable *****s.

So does Michigan's Children of Yost. It's pretty cool.

When we play the Canadian school, they were once allowed to lead the crowd- which was really special.

I remember a few years back when they were booing the anthem in Montreal. Then they had a video of Jean Beliveau requesting the crowd to be respectful during the anthems. The booing stopped. It was like they got a message from God. Which, in Montreal, it was.

I grew up playing most of my hockey in small rinks on the Manitoba side of the border and got used to hearing both. Even with scratchy records and cheap sound systems, I really got to appreciate how nice an anthem they have.

I'm not sure about that five. Definitely a penalty but a five doesn't seem right.
