It seems to me that Notre Dame and Maine would be SA opponents.
Did Smith get the opportunity to weigh in on these games?
ND leaving HEA might have caused things to change.

Maine comes to RPI over New Years
Notre Dame comes to RPI during Union's finals week
We play the 3rd game with CCT during the normal time they'd come to town.
We play some Atlantic or HEA team on either the 6th or 7th of October. Only HEA team available that weekend is Merrimack, so it'll probably be a Atlantic team, maybe Army or Bentley...
There is an opening for Harvard around the 8th or 9th of December, but knowing the schools, it'll probably be some random Tuesday.
You are correct in that the Maine issue is close to be resolved though it is still listed as tentative for Dec 29 & 30. I know they were trying to move UConn vs. Maine but doesn't look like they are able to as Maine was originally listed for a Saturday/Sunday October 7/8 at RPI. The 3rd Clarkson game is in Ireland. Steve Hagwell has confirmed that this game and the Union/Yale game in 2018 in Ireland are Non-conference.

We now know the 12th NC game: UNH will be coming to town on a Wednesday prior to that open week in December.

So either it's just a week off during homecoming week, or we have to extend the countdown.

Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Dan Jewell has playing background as a goalie. As you can see by the Link he played 2 yrs at South Kent (03-05), a team mate of Andrei Uryadov whose Fr. yr. @ RPI was 05..... http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=49521

Jewell was also Director of Scouting for Bloomy so he has that background also......This year was much different. We were able to evaluate ourselves and what our needs are, where last year we were drafting the whole team," said Williams. "Director of Scouting Dan Jewell did a fantastic job with his details on all the players throughout all the leagues in the US, Canada, and overseas. Now we are just excited about the picks we selected thanks to our scouting staff's keen eye.” http://www.juniorhockey.com/news/new...?news_id=87018

Clarkson's release of schedule made it official to confirm johnk's mention that we will indeed not be losing a home or away conference game this year.

Still waiting on info about the Beanpot make-up game vs. Harvard, confirmations for both Maine and Notre Dame, and any exhibition matches. Then our schedule will be complete.

He obviously has a good eye when it comes to recruiting goalies...... In his time at Hamilton College, Jewell had several notable accomplishments in helping to build that program, as well. He was responsible for recruiting goaltender Evan Buitenhuis, who won the Division III National Player of the Year award this past season. This past season also saw Hamilton make its first-ever NCAA tournament appearance, with Jewell’s two seasons of recruiting playing a role in helping the Continentals make history.....http://www.ushl.com/news_article/sho...rer_id=2650688

You know what's ironic... there was a list of three finalists for the job, we were talking about two of them, and which one gets hired?

Maybe we're the kiss of death for opportunity.

We didn't name a thread after any of them.
