Young couple rents a house, unaware the landlord is always watching. REALLY wants to be a non-B-Movie, but the cliches and subpar acting overtake it. A for effort, D for execution. It's not bland acting, but the script really limits the actors' capabilities. I probably wouldn't bother with it, if I were you.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

It's sad how much I'm looking forward to this. The Room is quite likely the worst movie ever made, and this send up of it could be amazing.

The cast (one of the Francoi, Rogan) is a problem. It's probably going to wind up being about them because everything they make is inside jokes about them.

This is the End left a really bad taste in my mouth, especially since it came out around the same time as The World's End, which was great.

This Is The End was a great movie to see once. The element of surprise/etc was key to that movie. Once you've seen it, though, it drastically falls off.

John Wick 2 was fairly decent. If you liked the first you'll like the second.

I thought it was more vulgar with the violence at times. But more stylized. I liked the ending.

              Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry:

Fun heist movie. Ending kinda sucked. Came out of nowhere. Always wondered about this one as a kid, given the title, as in WTeFF is this about?! Finally got a chance to see it. Good afternoon killer.

              Havenhurst:

A recovering alcoholic checks into an apt building where you get a second chance, but not a third. Borders between gore/suspense, some of the plot jumps ahead with no explanation, the ending was horrible. Came across as "Oh, so that's the way it is. No reason. Just accept it." Blech.

Well done movie. It's a slower one, but very poignant. Touches on more than a few issues. Highly recommend.

I always mix this up with Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins. They may both have Harry Dean Stanton in them.

                    Devil's Bride:

Anna is a 16-year old in a village where women are accused of witchcraft. It's based on the witch hunts on Ã…land, Finland in the 1600s. Very heavy movie. Well done, good plot/subplots. Would recommend. (it is subtitled)

                      So. Not this one.

Actually a great movie. The poster hilariously misrepresents it. And the Criminologist from Rocky Horror is the villain.

No, not that one, but now I am intrigued.

IINM it's public domain streaming on the net. Look for The Devil Rides Out. Very nice Brit horror similar to "Casting the Runes" (c.f. Night of the Demon).

There was a (bad) movie recommended to me by a bartender this weekend....Night Of The Lupes? Something like that. Gigantic rabbits take over a farm, along those lines. The discussion STARTED with "Barbarella" and went downhill from there.

Atomic Blonde. Hitchcockian Spy Thriller. I loved it. My friend did not. Charlize is so awesome.

Figure out the Macguffin. Great ending.

Night of the Lepus is legendary. It has the production values of a 'Battlestar Gallactica: TOS' episode. They somehow talked Janet Leigh into it. And DeForrest Kelly during presumably a low point in his career and self image.
