Spoilers: Excellent Pennywise, both live and CGI. The girl who played Bev is going to be something amazing. Per Bev: let this be a lesson to you, nerd lads. You can figure everything out, write beautiful poetry, and save the pretty girl from zombie near-death but the b-tch is still going to go for the taller better looking guy, so go for the smart girl. The peripheral kids (the black kid, the Jewish kid) were pointless -- either develop them more or cut them. Congrats on Bowers staying a sh-t until the end, I was afraid after Daddy's embarrassment he was going to be rehabilitated by the Loser's Club as muscle but they kept the faith. Great first scene with Georgie, both with the conversation and the brutal death. Supposedly they cut a scene with Bev being actually raped by her father; better this way -- the hint is far eerier.

You should watch some of the behind the scenes stuff with the kids and Skarsgard. Off camera they are great together. The kids are awesome. Look up the episode of the movie trivia schmoedown that features the It cast. Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher and Finn Wolfhard all have great futures ahead. Thankfully they cut the child rape (although its more than implied and hellishly creepy) and the orgy between Bev and the boys after they defeat It. Even Stephen King wishes he had never written that into the book. If you have read the books or seen the 1990 miniseries you know A) Henry Bowers might not be dead and B) part 2 has the potential to be boring as hell. The adult portion of the story is weak. The origins of It works fine in the book, but will not relate well to a mass movie audience in 2019. Hopefully Part 2 will be heavy on the flashbacks to childhood.

Enjoy your time watching Twister. It's on some random channel 3 times a week.

I remember enjoying it when it came out, but after a few months of my wife wanting to watch it every time it is on (which really is 3 times a week), I was permanently burned out on flying cows.

                            Spoilers:
So It has been out in both book form and TV miniseries for over 25 years now, there aren't much for spoilers at this point. Given that, the two extra kids were included because they helped really cement the Losers Club beyond just the trio of kids who had their core, (assumed) long-lasting friendship prior to the show. It was setup to show that Pennywise really does prey on more than just those three kids who might get sidetracked with the idea that one Biff Tannen's crew was lacing their Hi-C drinks with something funny when they started seeing things.

It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume." Boromir

I disagree. First, I never read the book or saw much of TOS. Second, it's been so long that a huge chunk of the audience never saw the original.

I think I watched it a year ago...I mean it is cheesy as heck but I still love me some Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt! And come on Carey Elwes with a horrid accent and acting so awful it makes his turn in Saw look Oscar worthy
