Over a thousand others tried and only 1 scored more
Good points. Have heard that Crone has earned strong praise from Grand Forks Herald reporter Brad Schlossman, who suggests he’ll be an excellent college player. With Bellows’ departure, Crone should be a lock for a top nine spot, possibly top six. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see four newcomers in the top nine: Tkachuk, Bowers, Crone and graduate transfer Melanson.

Is Amonte still coming this year? I feel like a while back someone hinted that he might wait another year? Or something like that...

It is good to see Crone doing well. My recollection is that he was considered a strong recruit when he committed, but then sort of fell off the radar for a year or two. I think he was originally for 2016, so perhaps pushing him back a year was a good move.

Amonte is coming this season. Played in the Chowder Cup with Farrance, Crone, Tkachuk, and Crotty.

Crone had a tough first USHL season in Omaha, but once traded to Fargo, progressed quickly. Good numbers his second year and 62 last season, good for #3 in USHL. Hasn't grown much taller, but at least he's bulked up a bit. We'll see.

Krys has impressed at Blackhawks development camp. He'll need to step up and replace some of the offense lost with McAvoy's departure. Fabbro, too.

Never get tired of seeing this.

In fairness, his first year he was 16, a year younger than Natl dev u-17 team. Did fine
Following year as a 17 year old had 41 points, very good, last year had 62 points, 3rd in league
Could still play in league two more years

Had a very good USHL carear, including first year. One of only a couple his age that year

He was only 98 who played full year on team

So someone tweeted yesterday that Fabbro's bio on Instagram (I think) no longer lists BU. Anyone know if we should be concerned?

Two year deal with Sabres at 650K per for ERod. First is two-way, second is one-way. 30 games with Buffalo last season.

Candidates to fill his spot at BU (pure speculation):

                        Freddy Meyer

Krys was injured Saturday but completed the game. Being shut down as a precaution. Hearing it's not serious.

Five of six Terriers made the US team's first cut at the WJSS. Krys was shut down due to an injury, reportedly not serious. Oettinger was sharp in 8-2 win against Canada. Harper 1G, 2A. Farrance 2A.

Cockerill has impressed, especially on forecheck and PK.

Cockerill was a steal there (7th rd) Kirk, indeed

To me, Oettinger is very similar to the way Martin Jones moves around the crease
