Well, the longer he's out there the more he will implicate himself. These guys think not being caught in a lie is the same as telling the truth. The whole bunch of them would perjure themselves happily if they ever had to take the stand. But as long as their own criminal organization controls the docket they won't have to.

Well, since Ryan stands the most to gain by the POTUS and VPOTUS going away, and Ryan could talk with McConnell about removing a guy who's willing to throw them both under the biggest buses he can find. They both have large egos, like 99% of all politicians, and Hair Furor started early with his efforts of publicly burning bridges within the GOP. It's not entirely out of the realm. Trump could still be seen as the outsider who connived his way into the inner sanctum of Party HQ. We may yet see a time when it's time to purge themselves of the interloper.

With Republicans, you have to look at everything through a political lens. If Trump sits into the 25-30% approval rating through next spring, they'll suddenly impeach him to save their hides in the 2018 midterms.

Pence is a terrible choice for the country with a disgusting social agenda. None of that is a valid reason for him to be impeached. As far as we are aware so far, he didn't commit any crimes or consort with foreign powers. He just has a hateful ideology.

But this is all moot. The members of this Republican party have neither the virtue nor the courage to impeach Trump. They care only about themselves and the people who bribe them. Citizenship and patriotism mean nothing to them. Democratic institutions and the rule of law mean nothing to them. They will do nothing.

Sooner or later what Congress wants doesnt matter and other people have more control. The way Trump is throwing them all under thebus isnt helping his case...
