  • 2017 National Championship Thread

Time to get the discussion going:

Both semi final games seem to offer compelling match ups..
East vs West....two NCHA teams vs the East, etc.

    Adrian vs Norwich...

The Bull Dogs have earned the reputation of being a highly penalized team with their overall 12th ranking this season with 18.2 minutes per game.
but, in their last five games, an interesting trend has developed...
In four of the games, they took fewer penalties minutes compared to their season average = 15.6 per game.
Their opponents took an average of 17.6 minutes per game. And in four of the five games, their opponent took more penalty minutes than their own season average.
    My opinion:
Adrian seems to have the ability to draw other teams into their game...fast, up and down play...putting extreme offensive pressure on the opponent, with a strong power play supported by their exceptional forward group....
I have only seen Norwich via video several times this season...will be very interesting to see how they match up with the Bull Dogs...
    SNC Men:
    Five Time National Champions: 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014. 2018....
    NCHA Champions: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017. 2018, 2019...
    SNC Women:
    O'Brien Cup Champions: 2013.
