Now this is more Plattsburgh's style of recruit. A solid tier 2 player, not a kid that lit up a low end tier 3 league. I get that gems can be found in the rough, but jems are extremely rare, especially from the Rocky Mountain league

While it's true that Geneseo lost a lot of scoring with this year's graduating class, 8 of the top 11 point-getters from last year will be returning next year (number 11 accounts for 17 points with 11 goals and 6 assists), so there should still be plenty of offense. There will also be 4 DI transfers on defense.

Their biggest weakness is in goal, Devin McDonald needs to play like his Freshman year. The 2 Freshman coming in really do not standout with the numbers they have, that could be misleading but you never know until they get into some games.

Agreed. That's the biggest unknown at this point.

WOW 4 D1 players should sure up the d-core,I guess that is what Prez was reffing to when he said something like Genny has a kick *** class coming in......that would give them 5 D1 transfers on the blueline with the Merrimack addition from last yr...

My four transfers on Defense were counting the two DI additions from last year (from Merrimack and Vermont), so it's now four total. Our DI transfers on offense have now graduated, but the returning forwards and new recruits should make for a pretty strong group.
