Good morning Lodge, and Happy Friday! Also, it's payday - yay! Going to the Sox-Cubs game tonight. Should be a nice night, weather-wise. I hope I didn't just jinx it.

I get to go home and mow before it rains all weekend. And then tomorrow I get to go look at dishwashers. Yay.

This is really funny if you have the board layout to have newer posts above older posts.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Every time I think about buying a house, there's the whole "maintain the landscaping" thing that stops my lazy arse in its tracks, with flashbacks to being told, "your father has asked you to mow today" after getting home from school, and then sweating like a pig doing my parents' lawn(s) from age 12-18 - they made me do it at the "up north" place, too. That would be every 5 days in a rainy year, plus the "up north" weekend mowing.

Not that I couldn't afford a lawn service, but I refuse to pay someone to do something I could do myself (but currently don't want to), and it's the bad memories that matter.
