There aren't too many people who support our mission as much as @SethAppert. Thank you very much for your commitment to our organization

From the stuff I saw on TV tonight from Dr. McElroy, it sounds like Coach Appert had no chance of keeping his job regardless of finish this year. Sad to see him go, but he will land on his feet somewhere when he is ready. I am a UAlbany alum and saw first hand what Dr. McElroy can do in the AD role and yes, RPI isnt a D1 school and he even admitted he has had to learn hockey, he will be able to make some moves to help RPI Hockey get back to where it belongs. Let the speculations begin!!!
Also can someone check on AspyDad for me. He can't be taking todays events very well.

Loyality means sticking with a thing in good and bad times. Not willing to do that, stay home, I got this.
Also from one of our radio announcers...
Wishing all the best to @SethAppert. If he didn't welcome me in when I first started out in radio, I would not be where I am today.

Have been everywhere from DC to Maine, RI to Buffalo and Ottawa to Philly and have never met, or even heard of, one player in the past 8-10 years who aspired to play at RPI. Therefore, Ben Barr would be an excellent choice, simply because he knows the players and the program!!! Ran into SA more at the airport in Detroit, than i ever did at any rinks in New England and throughout the northeast.
Two years ago SA had to refund a large portion of his High School Exposure Camp tuition because only 13 kids showed up! How embarrassing for the program that players from the region and surrounding areas weren't interested enough in RPI to attend his camp and have a chance to interact with SA and his coaches!!!

Haven't posted in years - so what's going on this this thread?
OH LAWD!
1) Ralph Baer is still here (GOOD!)
2) Seth Appert is not
Look on the bright side, so far, firing the coach has worked for the Bruins
Also
Seth Appert was always a friendly, lively interview. A very competitive guy as well. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors. https://t.co/75ZspQv4I8

Thank you, Coach, for leading our team with integrity, energy and passion. Thank you for forming a culture that reached beyond the ice to the classroom and the community. You were a great representative of RPI in our community. Best wishes to you and your family in the future. And best wishes to the team in everything you do.
Today is 7 March 2017. There are 208 days until RPI's next game.
This is based upon 1 October 2017 for the start of next season.
"Hundreds"... that's kind of a shot I think. Clearly he made a lot of friends along the way. He didn't make a lot of hockey players better though. He probably belongs in some type of USA hockey role as his strengths appear to be on the spin side. Gonna miss our "frozen four" quality offense he delivered this season.
