Yeah, Sam Kinison dated quite a few ladies that were considered "out of his league." Unfortunately, only when he started to turn his life around (in the alcohol/drugs) sort of sense, he died. He was one of the greats.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Well, he probably wouldn't have been funny if he was happy.

Name a great comedian who was happy. I can think of exactly one (Bob Newhart).

He was clean during this special, and it was HILARIOUS: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0249934/

He was dating one of the dancers in that special, might have even been his fiancee at the time.

              Just kill me now.

I guess it has happened to everyone except William Burroughs that eventually culture goes places which in your old age are just "too far." For whatever reason, this bugs me. I understand the point, even kinda applaud the sentiment, but I swear every time I see the kids taking selfies I want to bring back the draft.

                From that story:

Don’t make your cat mean. Don’t hurt them to get them mean; treat them like a normal cat.
Here's my warning to all f-cking sick rednecks out there. Do whatever you want to your children, I could not care less about them and face it they're never going to amount to anything. But if I ever see someone abusing their cat to "make them mean," that f-ck is dead in the time it takes me to return with a handgun, because losing me won't hurt the world but losing them will make it a whole lot better.

Might help out their kids, too. Not that it matters.

That's not even a generational thing. There were couples linked in the story who were in their late 40's or their 50's. That's more of an obsession with letting people know everything they can know about your life. People are losing their filters.

A couple who owned the house next to my parents' house when I was a kid, and playing with their kids, and now they're constantly updating Facebook with everything. It must be some sort of extravert thing.

I update Facebook when I see something I think my friends will find interesting. I am well aware that the details of my life are not interesting. I know this because I have yet to be remotely interested by anyone else's life. If you just got engaged or pushed out a brat, fine, post a photo of the ring or burden. But if you post your dinner you're unfriended.

Except Dr. Mrs.' best friend's ex going to trial for murder. I'm not gonna lie. That's pretty interesting. Even more interesting: he is totally guilty.

Yeah, the parents I referenced, they posted a full picture run-through of their first trip into the newly built Hy-Vee because the chain is new to MN, and their stores are entirely different than what we've seen before up until now. I was talking with one of the other parents from that neighborhood two weekends ago about this (pure chance), and he's just shaking his head bout it and laughing like I was. Then I was treated to some stories about his time as a Dept. of Treasury agent, running down money launderers, tax evaders, and dealing with lawyers in court. Now that stuff would be interesting to read on a Facebook feed!

We have a neighborhood Facebook group that 99% of the time is just used to sell or give away crap or post reminders for road closures/civic announcements/school events/etc. But those other 1% of posts, hoo boy, break out the popcorn because people forget that they aren't living in a bubble where everyone thinks like them and some ridiculously stupid remarks come out.

My particular favorites generally involve the proverbial Stepford wives freaking out over random shiat because of our oh so dangerous crime rate in lily white suburbia.

You're linking to an awful lot of Woman's Day stuff. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.
