Nicely done. From the complex to the simple, Maine has only one scenario. They finish the season in 11th position.

Obviously home ice is the 1st priority but we absolutely need a sweep to keep our slim at-large hopes alive.

Cmon, ZAR line at the Kelleher line on the big ice. What could be better...

I'm totally with you on this Dan. I still think UNH ends up matched with UConn, but think a series with NU would be much more compelling.

Huskies don't exactly have a sterling track record playing on Lake Whitt. Given the defensive mishaps this season, I don't want to give the opposition more room to work with.

Article from Vancouver on Gaudette's development. Sounds like they want him to spend another year here then turn pro. Which is ok by me!

I'd personally rather NU beat someone else 2-1 than lose 6-5 at UNH. But that's just me.

If I wasn't a fan of either team that'd be great. As an NU fan, I'm hoping to avoid UNH because I think they're the only team of the 3 possible opponents who can score with NU. Both teams have 64 goals in 20 HE games. Northeastern has scored at least 3 goals in 16 of their last 17 games (and the game they didn't, they scored 2 on bad ice at Fenway). In the 4 games NU has played against MC and UConn, they've given up a total of 4 goals. You have to score to beat NU, and quite frankly I don't think those teams have the horses to do so, but UNH does. Kelleher, Grasso, Salvaggio and McNicholas are all better than any MC or UConn forward not named Tage Thompson. I know Merrimack has been hot, but looking at their roster I'm not scared of them at all. I see them getting swept at the Gut this weekend and would love to play them at Matthews next week.
