Who is JP's Yankees? Tempting trade offer, but I had to reject that one. (and you would not believe how super-duper-extra-special careful I was in responding that I didn't click on the wrong button )

Good start for the Creampuffs. Although it looks like my team caught the flu.

If anyone is in the market for light hitting infield or outfielders, I have some to trade.

I thought my team looked pretty bad on paper, but they're having a good couple weeks. Hard to decide who to sit for the offense, looking at the last 7 days.

Much sadness that I didn't draft Eric Thames. He was on my list, read his unusual story and convinced myself he'd flop. Sad!

If you had Anthony Rendon starting today, you did good. 3 HR, 10 RBI in a rout of the Mets.

Too bad I sat him, because he was hitting about .200 before today.

That must really be frustrating. Facing Thor I'll bet a lot of people joined you.

Turns out I missed the minimum innings (by 2), so it didn't matter anyway.

I had to actually go buy a starter at the last minute to make the limit. The funny thing is I may keep him. My team has been destroyed by the DL so it hardly matters.

That's my son's team. He's 9 and still learning that one has to give up a good player to get a good player in trades.

But he managed to pry his favorite player in the whole world, Aaron Judge, away from Kepler!! I thought it was a bad deal for the little man when he proposed it a month ago, but it's turning out pretty well so far.

I liked that trade for both teams. I desperately needed saves and I was OK with my power, so while Judge could be a huge giveaway I was a "motivated seller."

LOL Hey, then maybe Maybin for Harper, straight up, would have worked.

Being the baseball genius that I am (ha ha) I figured Judge for an all-or-nothing hitter who might get sent down to the minors mid-season, and actually talked him out of the deal -- I think he wrote you a "rejection" note saying he needed his saves -- but then he hit "accept" by accident. Needless to say, he's quickly learning not to trust his old man's instincts when it comes to sports.

Ha! He sent me about five similarly ridiculous trade offers for Kris Bryant in about 10 minutes. Had to call home from the office to tell him to stop.
