As I said before, he's set this up perfectly to leave GOP Congresscritters holding the bag. If they try to eliminate health care for his working class voters, particularly Medicaid expansion, he'll veto and look like a hero to these people. He gets to make promises like nobody with current ACA exchange policies will lose coverage while sticking Weasel Paul Ryan with the impossible task of making that and full repeal happen. A more conventional Republican wouldn't do this but he owes these people nothing and is probably more interested in the lighting at his next press conference than actually passing anything into law over the course of his term with the exception of 1) kicking out all illegals which he really seems to actually care about, and 2) scrapping a couple of trade deals. Everything else is window dressing.

Hmm. Going to have to think about this but you actually make a pretty good case. The place where it collapses for me is that it would require Trump to be capable of formulating and executing a plan. I have seen no indication that Trump can tie his own shoes. But if you're saying "he" is shorthand for "whoever is actually running Trump, other than / alongside Putin" then yeah, I'd subscribe to your newsletter.

And as I've said back, on Milo I am absolutely ignorant. What I'm talking about are the tactics he employed on the Maher appearance and that's it. He may well be Hitler In Drag in his other incarnation. I'm not debating that. I don't care about Milo himself, I care about the particular little glich in the liberal mindset that he has perhaps unwittingly stumbled upon. That's a real thing and it's under our control and we are fully capable of designing a countermeasure.

But for some reason when I talk about that you go apesh-t as if I'm aiding and abetting. I'm not. Like you, having watched his overtime performance I can see that like Coulter he is completely without scruple and is potentially HIGHLY dangerous in that he provides cover for the worst type of conservative cretin to smuggle hate into the public discourse under cover of the First Amendment and "liberal intolerance hurr de hurr". But that isn't new -- Glenn Beck, Anne Coulter and others have been doing it for decades. What they didn't do, at least quite so overtly, was expose a bind spot that we need to address. In the meantime yes of course I'd enjoy watching him torn limb from limb in brutal agony for eternity. He's just another garden variety monster hiding behind tolerance to spread intolerance.

The only "heroism" in this story is if liberals dive down below the water line and fix the hole in the hull he has pointed all of our attention to. He's a useful monster. If the arsonist walking by your house says, " you know, you should really check your smoke alarms," don't be like "well the last thing I'm going to do is check my smoke alarms, because that guy is awful."

I doubt if he did it deliberately."ha ha, this is my secret strategy to put it all on Ryan's head". More likely, he and his "cabinet" can't come up with a solution to save their lives, or even more, don't have the ambition to even attempt to do so. So punt it off to Ryan and let him deal with it.

If they come up with something good that everyone loves, he'll take creditfor it, just like he took credit for all those companies investing money in the US, that had been in the works since long before he'd been elected. If it turns to crap, which it likely will, as it's after all, Paul Ryan and congressional Republicans, and people turn theuir ire towards it, he'll just step back and shrug, "hey, wasn't me. I give them something to do and they fail. Sad. Losers".

It appears to me he has no plan. Which is very disheartening because I know what Ryan's plans are for everything and they're unworkable disasters. Well, that would be fine if he were hiring the top people with ideas. Maybe it's my partisan blinders but I just don't see it. I've seen report after report after report for example on Health Care from the Townhalls and they don't appear to have a single new idea. It's really distressing.

How courageous of you to suggest we all just ignore it when it’s not your computer being hacked and your safety being put in jeopardy. You’ve apparently turned a blind eye to that for some time and the issue hasn’t gotten any better. He’s potentially dangerous? You still don’t get that that line was crossed long ago.

The tactic he employed on Bill Maher was to take a naive audience and convince them, “Oh, he’s bad, but he’s not that bad,” and apparently it worked.

Give the guy a free platform to sell himself and, like in his Facebook apology for the kiddie-diddling, he’s going to say, “I’ve spent my career as a journalist to expose pedophiles,” rather than the more specific version of the story which was “I was mad at a woman for trying to shut down my child porn site, so my minions hacked into her computer and forged chat transcripts to make her look like a pedophile, which I then broadcasted” Which page of the Ann Coulter playbook is that out of, by the way?
