        Ervin Santana has 3 shutouts this year. 13 other pitchers have shutouts as well.

            Lol. The Twins signed bartolo colon to a minor league contract.

            Current starter megathreat Jose Berrios was 2 years old when Colon debuted.

                Lester becomes just the 4th pitcher in the last 100 years to give up 10 or more runs without getting out of the first inning. Cubs are a mess.

                        Absolutely zero consistency withe the Cubs this year, on the mound, in the field, or at the plate. It's not a case of just one part of their game being bad.

                            They are very young, which probably could explain some of it. Plenty of time to catch the Brewers, but doesn't look good for them going far if they do get into the playoffs.
