Pool A (automatic bid) teams are:
Plattsburgh (ECAC West)
St. Thomas (MIAC)
Adrian (NCHA)
Norwich (NEHC)
Middlebury (NESCAC)
pretty much a lock for Pool B:
UW-River Falls
I think for Pool C:
Elmira
UW-Eau ClaireUWS Ladyjackets

So your matchups are either
St Thomas/Eau Claire vs Plattsburgh
St Thomas/Gustavus vs River Falls
Norwich vs Middlebury
Elmira vs Adrian
Or
St Thomas/Eau Claire vs Adrian
St Thomas/Gustavus vs River Falls
Norwich vs Plattsburgh
Elmira vs Middlebury
If Eau Claire makes it they go to Plattsburg/Adrian, since they can't play River Falls. . If Gustavus makes it St Thomas takes the flight. They will have 1 flight either way. Scenario B is probably preferable for Elmira fans. Scenario A would be closer to a truly seeded tournament. Either way, you probably end up with 3 flights for the finals. Unless St Thomas and Gustavus/Eau Claire win their QFsLast edited by gojackets; 03-05-2017, 08:56 PM.UWS Ladyjackets

There was 1 flaw I see, he said Augsburg was 2-0 vs Gustavus they were 1-1.
He's assuming the rankings don't change. If they don't change I agree with him.
They've taken down the stat sheet so I can't see how St Thomas and Lake Forest compare...but I believe they would be somewhat justified in switching out Lake Forest for St Thomas. I'm probably wrong though.UWS Ladyjackets

Re: 2017 Women's D-III NCAA Selection Thread
The Elmira @ Adrian game actually holds up bracket integrity this year as I am pretty sure Adrain will be the W1 (maybe W2) and Elmira will be E4. It's not as bad as year's past where Elmira was higher ranked in the east.Steve
