Whine with your 8 teams in to our 4. Go right ahead.
Uh, how many teams play D-3 out your way? 25. How many out here in the East? 56. Oh, thank you. Split seems about right to me.

Sure is an interesting bracket. Along with many of you, kind of surprised Norwich didn't get a bye but I guess that's just the way it got decided. The NCAA tournament is a battle no matter how you look at it, felt like having them not have a bye is saying "Let's see if you can play up to the expectations" kind of deal. Should be a good tournament to follow, best of luck to all teams and see you in Utica.

I Clearly stated easier which doesn't mean 'easy'. It means a simpler route. puff, puff, passing on you.

Was SNC the #1 overall seed in 2010 and hosted Adrian in a Wednesday first-round game, before beating Gustavus in the quarters.... ?

Looking at the regional rankings there are a few metrics that stand out, however they don't appear to have been weighted equally across the board.

Very Heavy on the In Conf SOS, with exception of Norwhich (RNK/WL)

Trinity Jumps to Two with In Conf SOS and High RNK

Hobart at three is puzzling but is why I said Very Heavy on the In Conf SOS which is .528 to .520 (Oz) as OZ holds a .500 to .375 RNK and .796 to .786 W/L

However Oswego Stays ahead of Endicott to be 4th rather than 5th by virtue of what? The fact that they've played 6 games vs ranked teams to Endicotts 1? And if thats the case and we are valuing it high there, why not the same in the 3 to 4 spot?

Endicott holds .846 to .796 (Oz) W/L and .524 to .520 (Oz) SOS, equal RNK at .500

and by the numbers and understood process, granted there are more numbers /metrics used. But what are given to us it should appear

                  1 Norwhich
                  2 Trinity
                  3 Endicott
                  4 Oswego
                  5 Hobart
                  6 Hamilton

Regarding the Hobart-Endicott/Trinity-Plattsburgh St bracket, who is the higher seed, Trinity or Hobart? I can't seem to find the actual seedings anywhere.

This was always a possibility. It just seems to me that at least two East teams deserved byes. The logical way to arrange it would be to pick the top 4 teams and give them the byes and quarterfinal home games. However, because of the 500 mile rule taking preference over everything, apparently they wanted to seed it so that the top 4 seeds could all make it to Utica. What I don't get is why Trinity jumped over Hobart. If, as is claimed UWSP and SNC are the national 2 and 3 seeds, why aren't they lined up in a semifinal. Traditionally the semifinals should line up 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3.

Ultimately, as I've always said you just need to win, but it seems like in this set up the matchups violate most of the rules that are deemed to be important for "bracket integrity." As a Norwich fan of long standing, I'm more annoyed with the lack of recognition of what they have accomplished than anything else. Adrian does not deserve a bye. Augsburg does not deserve a bye. To me that is what stands out as wrong.

Anyone that looked at this bracket would not know who the number 1 ranked team is. It's nonsense!
Norwich got nothing for their #1 seed.
