Congratulations to her. Well deserved for sure. I'd be fine with her coming back, but only if Kessel can too, just for the second half of next season. Or maybe Wendell and Darwitz for their fourth seasons?

If she didn't win it this year, no goalie was ever going to win it. Only way she was going to lose it is if in the last 30 days, either Stalder/Mercer found the cure for cancer or Desbiens committed armed robbery of a bank or grand theft auto.

Congrats to ARD. The most deserving of the 3 IMHO. Now if only Mercer can repeat her 1G/1A outing from game 1 against Wisco at Cheel early in the year or maybe double or triple it tomorrow .

She worked hard, she played awesome, well deserved. Maybe since she's going for her Masters in accounting @ UW next year we can squeeze some more eligibility out of her.
You should be worried! Seems like most times Kas winners don't hoist the trophy

Except that 3 of the 4 Badgers who previously won it did so while winning the Natty the same year.

In fact, since 2005, More than half of the winners have gone on to win the title, and of the winners who were playing in the final game during that time, Decker and Carpenter are the only ones that didn't win the title too.

Carpenter didn't play in the final the year she won the Kaz.

Congratulations to ARD and the Badgers for winning the Patty K. Definitely well-deserved. Hopefully she'll spend the night out celebrating and be tired tomorrow afternoon.

Congrats to ARD. Mercer will sleep on it. Spoke with (as I said in previous post) one of the tier 2 NWHLers about them not jumping into Worlds. That same nights the deadline (Thurs) the Pride played and won 8 - 2. This player said that instead of licking their wounds they came out on fire.

                      Maybe Mercer will too.

If the Kaz winner wins the next day more often than she loses, is it really a curse?
