Frankly, the bears are being dumb here. But given he's a packers fan, he's more than likely a giant dipsh|t.

    I'm so torn.
I'm not. Good for the Bears.

I don't understand how any judge even allows this suit. It's all private property, and sports fandom is not a protected category. What am I missing?

Are you like Natalie Imbruglio Torn, or just in awe of the stupidity of this all?

For those of you who still follow the D-1 board, you may know that I have a formula that ranks the college hockey programs based on their all-time results. I have modified the formula to rank all the NFL teams based on their all-time results. If people are interested, I will do a reveal in this thread and perhaps people can guess the Top 10 for fun.

It's the off season and there's not much going on right now, so do it.

are you doing all-time or super bowl era?

Depending on where you start its definitely the Packers, Giants, Steelers, Redskins, 49ers, Cowboys, and Patriots probably with some combination of the Colts, Raiders, Broncos, Bears, and Dolphins.

So the contest will be this:

Pick the Top 10, in order.
3 Points for correctly picking a Top 10 team.
7 Points for correctly picking each place.

Example, if the Houston Texans are the #5 ranked team (Spoiler: They are not), and you have them ranked 10th, you'll get 3 points. If you have them ranked 5th, you'll get 10 points (3 points for correctly picking them in the Top 10, and 7 points for correctly picking them 5th). If you don't have them ranked in your Top 10, you'll get 0 points.

                          Max score is 100 points.

Anyone who wants to play should post on here their Top 10 (including order) by Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. I'll start unveiling the teams on Sunday, with the goal of finishing the list by end of July (~ Training Camp begins).

EDIT: Let's give 2 points for missing the placing by 1 spot. In the example above, if you picked Houston 4th or 6th, you'd get 5 points (3 points for having them in your Top 10, and 2 points for being within 1 spot).

Not sure how you are handling Cleveland --> Baltimore, which IINM are counted as different franchises because the new Browns "own" the old Browns' records.

This is correct. The Baltimore Ravens only get to count 1996-present. The Cleveland Browns get to count 1946-1995; 1999-present. The Houston Oilers records count with the Tennessee Titans. For teams that combined during World War II, the records went with both franchises (see, e.g., 1944 Card-Pitt (Chicago Cardinals (now the Arizona Cardinals) and Pittsburgh Steelers coop)).
