You'll play in the successor Great Lakes Football League, with Minnesota, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, and Cleveland.

All game outdoors between November and February. Conference championship is a rock fight between the residents of the two finalists.

Eh, sports media rights are always pretty valuable, it's just a matter of the NFL being willing to accept games being broadcast on something like Twitch or Netflix or Facebook.

Univision broadcasts MLS and Liga MX (Mexican soccer league) on Facebook Live and the chat is like a Twitch chat, though not nearly as bad.

In a generation or two interest will severely decline in the NFL. Mothers aren't putting their kids into the various youth leagues anymore, afraid of the CTE risks. Kids interested in sports tend to mostly be interested in the sports they play. And that generally holds true as they become adults. No, it doesn't hold true 100% of the time, but it's a good measuring stick for future success of a league. MLB's very worried about their aging, mostly white fan base because kids have lost interest in playing their game. And white people don't have children at the same rates as other ethnicities right now.

But Latinos are and they represent a sizable portion of MLB rosters.

Do people really have a problem watching latinos? Because if they have a problem with that, there aren't going to be many sports outside of hockey that isn't dominated by minorities.

The amount of money the NFL can get in a media deal is a bubble that's bound to burst soon. At some point, the public is going to get sick of being extorted for stadiums (or at least, they'd better). The youth involvement/CTE stuff mentioned earlier.

The NFL has grown too powerful and must be taken down a few pegs.

The NFL is far from alone in that though. All professional sports teams need to stop with the extortion in an attempt to add a zero to profits.

Pro teams have value but it isn't in the billions. I mean the Wild, Wolves, Vikings, Twins, and even the Saints have gotten stadiums built since the mid 90s in Minnesota. The only one not asking for tax payers to take on debt here in Minnesota is MNUFC. They still want tax breaks on building it but that's a far cry from asking the people to borrow $500 million.

Estimates here of the public money portions of those arenas/stadiums.

Xcel Engergy was $200MM, Target Field was $450MM (Hennepin County, not the state), and US Bank Stadium was $650MM.

I don't know the numbers for the Target Center renovation happening now.
