Re: Weekend Scores January 6-8
Ohio State beats Penn State 5-0 on what looked like very little effort. Penn State badly needs some serious passing drills in practice, starting with aiming for players with the same jersey as theirs. This applies mostly to the defense, who should have been credited with at least three of Ohio State's five goals.

Wow, St. Cloud laid 7 on Colgate in a 7-4 win, and Colgate didn't score after St. Cloud switched goalies. The 2nd game results will be fascinating.Wisconsin Hockey: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 WE WANT MORE!

Re: Weekend Scores January 6-8
Here's a result I wasn't expecting... Saturday's Wisconsin at Lindenwood cancelled, due to a "facilities issue".
More info, from a post by "Nowheresville" on the UW thread:
The "facility issue" was a Carbon Monoxide leak that caused 1 Badger and everyone on Lindenwood's team to be checked out at the Hospital! (One of the minor details left out of the press release.)

Forget the box score. Can a losing goalie be co-MVP? Can everyone who skated tonight be MVPs for playing all-out in the pouring rain? Thirty-something degrees and pouring rain. An unbelievable night that showed what determination is all about in this women's game. (At least that's how I saw it from streaming in my warm, dry kitchen.) It was crazy. I hope it never happens again, but wowza!Last edited by thirdtime's . . .; 01-11-2017, 12:12 AM.
