          Yeah I wont lie...it is almost unreadable these days. If the Wild lose tonight I wont go back there for a while because the whining will get out of control.

          (the politics there is hilarious because it is basically every lame internet cliche down to drooling over any chick that they can think of while acting macho and talking about wussies)

          Put it this way the Pet Peeve thread was closed because someone was upset about some misogynistic talk and that lead to a bunch of people trolling hardcore.

                By the way, I come here for politics (well, now I come here for everything) because the discussion is usually civil and the posters on both sides tend to shy away from there usual "hurr durrrrrrr" arguments.

                  Agree. This is the most intelligent political discussion area I've been on. Most actual political sites are unreadably dumb. I can't even read the sites I agree with because the "reasoning" consists of grunts and other bodily noises. A 2 poster here is still like a 7 anywhere else.

                        Agreed. I think the conversations with my dad are the only more intelligent discussions I participate in (and I'm not the one who raises the quotient).

                        The righties on this site (a few in particular) are great to read. I know I give them a hard time or get into it a bit much sometimes, but it's still five steps above anything else I've read.

                          He still has one. But he's actually good about waiting to see if the argument flames out quick. If it doesn't he locks it fairly quickly.
