                        Hate to throw things slightly off topic but, is United as bad as the stories coming out say? I mean, I'll never fly them anyway (Alaska Airlines FTW!) but I am curious.

                          I don't see a link to this United story, but is this the one were the four non-revenue ticket holders got bumped for not having the appropriate attire a week or two ago?

                                Personally I love these situations. I've negotiated more free flights that I can remember due to overbooking. You've got to be flexible, though.
