About as cold as I remember it being.

Its not all gloom and doom. It warms up tomorrow. Just long enough to dump a half a foot of snow before sending is to absolute zero.

I really do miss snow even during those occasions when it was followed by -F temps.

Good info for those of you with light or moderate frost on your windshields, this might work.

My favorite part of the video is when the the weatherman tries to explain the freezing point of isopropyl alcohol.

About .25" of ice down here in 301 land. It will hit 50 this PM, so I am not planning to do a darn thing about it.

Wasn't all that bad. Low was 5 when I got up, -15 wind chill. Bundled up and walked to work. Only got 4 in of snow today then turned to rain. Mid 50's tomorrow.

Headed over to St Paul for a get-together. The outside lanes of the highways were a little tight, the plows haven't completely cleared them yet. Some icy patches too. On the way home tonight (about 11pm) saw a few spinouts, I'm guessing black ice; it is -16 currently.

Went out for a smoke earlier in the night, it was about -3, slight breeze, but it actually wasn't that bad. Didn't feel really chilly, surprisingly.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

It is supposedly -13 in North MPLS right now. Same deal. It feels cold, no doubt. But I was expecting worse.
