Sherman and Aiello are both skating regular shifts. What are you talking about?

"Regular shifts"?? I guess if you call 2 or 3 shifts per game "regular" then you're absolutely correct.

I could not attend the game Wednesday and was traveling back from Albany to Plattsburgh, I heard Sherman did this or that every 1 to two minutes on the radio broadcast. She was all over the place. That is a lot more than 2 or 3 shifts.

Ms. Aiello is having a fine senior season. Her role increased as the season progressed. She works hard every time she hits the ice.

Plattsburgh up 1-0 on Elmira on a PPG from Megan Crandall. Game pretty even so far except for all the power play time Plattsburgh has had. Looks like it will be a close one.

Tied 1-1 midway through the second. Great assist by Lippiatt Durnell

Edit: Now Plattsburgh up 2-1. Sheeran faked a pass to Brand at the point only to keep it go into the slot and fire through traffic into the upper corner.

And as I typed that Elmira ties it up. 3 mins left in the 2nd.

Edit: End of 2 game is tied 2-2.

Early in the 3rd Plattsburgh is dominating possession. Moriarty scores on the rebound to make it 3-2.

Plattsburgh scored an empty netter to make it 4-2 despite some great saves from the Elmira skaters. Late penalty on Plattsburgh but the Cards finish it out. Rematch tomorrow, which is also Senior Day for 6 Cardinals. Leonard, Brand, Duquette, Ames, Lipson and Turk.

Plattsburgh had an excellent 3rd period, outshooting EC 15-5 according to the official scoresheet. But in terms of "no shifts for the 3rd or 4th lines"... yes, the Sheeran-Songin-Meneghin line and the Lipson-Millen-Moriarty line got the bulk of he ice time, and I don't recall seeing the 4th line out there, Ames' line was out there for several 3rd period shifts.

Eau Claire up 1-0 after the first. EC goalie/defense keeping them alive. I'd say 75% of that period was played in their zone. Goal came on the power play after a poopy clearing attemp. River Falls will have a 1:40 left on a power play to start the 2nd.
