      I think the Pitino experiment has run its course

      Last year was the worst in th history of the program. If he doesn't significantly improve this year, it's time to part ways.

        UConn women win at #2 ND. Two tough games coming up with OSU and @Maryland, but should they get through those it's almost guaranteed they go into March with a winning streak over 100 and would near 110 by the time the Final Four comes along.

        And this was supposed to be a down year...

                      Last season MSU went to Northeastern and played them in men's and women's basketball and hockey over the course of two days. It was marketed as the Winter Showcase or something.

                      This year they did it at MSU with much less pizazz and all in one day. Women won by 20, hockey lost 6-2, and now the men lost.
