If anything I'd have linked to Steinman. "It's about time the piano realize it has not written the concerto."

I miss being a kid and trying to stay up for the Saturday night monster movie of the week. I still remember Mole People or something like that which if I watched again is probably a terrible movie but scared the s**t out of me back then.

                  The Apartment (1960)

An underling lets his bosses use his apartment for their extra-marital affairs, so he can advance his career. Works well, until he gets involved with one of his boss' latest conquests.

Great movie, although you can DEFINITELY tell what era this is from, not only from the settings/attitudes in the workplace, but just the style. Jack Lemmon, Fred MacMurray, and Shirley MacLaine star in this, and all are excellent in their roles. Definitely recommend.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Outstanding cast. Comedies of that era fall flat for me (Some Like It Hot), but I'm on a mission to watch everything MacMurray ever did.

Some Like It Hot is fantastic. The Apartment is top 5 romantic comedy of all time. Billy Wilder and Hitchcock are the greatest directors of that era.

That's what threw me in The Apartment. He's such an a-hole in it.
