Agreed but not going to happen. He is this year's saviour on defence. He just isn't that good.
When is 27 coming back? Is he coming back? Miss some size and menace in our own zone.

Can we trade for a goalie? This team is going nowhere but down in the standings and PWR unless the goaltending improves to at least average. PC in particular is charging up the standings. With 6 of remaining 8 against superior teams (on paper) and goalies who are far better than UVM's recent goaltending effort (this problem started showing up vs. Union) the Cats are about to experience a collapse.

time to go back to Santa and hope he can rise to the occasion as a senior and ride out on a high note. hopefully his every game softie can be avoided or overcome.

also need the senior forwards to show up in more force. Shaw, Puskarich, Bradley. Need Forgionne and Darrar back also. some of the freshmen are hitting the wall.

Next week is a huge test. Happy with 2 points but certainly not confident. They need to regroup and play with urgency for 60 minutes

I would say 4 of 8 on paper maybe. UNH is 0-6-1 when playing teams in the top20 and they also lost 5-1 to Bentley so I am not sold they are a contender.

Agree on wanting to see Santa. First goal Friday was iffy and the second was terrible. Team didn't score so I wouldn't blame game on Lekkas but he is
trending in the wrong direction lately.

Good thing for the Cats is most of the teams they are fighting with for home ice crapped the bed this weekend,
Lowell 0-2
UNH 0-2
Notre Dame 0-1

Next 2 weeks are huge not only for the 4 points they have but if the Cats get 3 or more either weekend they
get the tiebreaker on that team which is the same as getting a bonus point cause the other team would need
to pass them not catch them.

Can we trade for a coaching staff that doesn't ruin the confidence of every promising goalie that comes through the program? Lekkas was top 5 nationally in all GT categories before being pulled v Union (legitimate pull, team worthless on D in front of him all night), sat, played, sat. Packy Munson left the program to be "closer to family" after questionable treatment.

Truth. BU also not only lost to them, but got shut out. Even the best teams have bumps in the road.

Lekkas is roaming from the net and swinging his stick at pucks more now than he was at the beginning of the year. Don't know if that is due to coaching choices or due to a lack of confidence in the defense in front of him.

In my opinion the forwards need to back check a little harder. Opponents are going through the neutral zone a little too easily. Too many goals being scored off rebounds.
