I suppose picking underdogs at this point in the regular season might be a good strategy for someone so down in the standings as we are, blazer. But, probably picking all ties would be a better 'Hail Mary' approach.

I got lucky picking no ties, dumb luck I say, nothing scientific behind it other than I figured that with the league standings as tight as they are no one would want a tie but would throw all caution to the wind and go for the win. I also take into account what you and Blaze have to say and usually do something different . This week coming up I figure more of the same but as you said, 'just watch how many ties we have'.

I would say that's the smart move, second place Cornwallace can't be conservative at this point and will likely need to pick a few ties in order to get by you but at the risk of dropping out of second. I'm too far behind to make a dent unless I go with all ties and it actually happens. I could see some of us doing that as a last ditch effort to make a jump in the standings.

Regardless of the outcome well played on a successful AHC Pick'em 2016-2017 regular season.

Dang, finally making a little headway up the standing and I miss picking the first 2 games of this week. Then again, my Thursday picks would have ended as a split anyway.
